Mechanical Engineer – Operations & Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Operations & Maintenance (O&M) to manage and optimise the performance of a range of mechanical equipment. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, performance analysis, and close coordination with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform O&M of various capacity HSC pumps, vertical turbine pumps, compressors, blowers, valves and pipeline networks.
• Execute preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Conduct performance analysis and root‑cause investigations for equipment failures.
• Implement and monitor a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• Coordinate with clients, headquarters and other stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
• Manage manpower and customer relationships to deliver excellent service.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 6‑8 years of experience in operation and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Proven experience with HSC pumps, vertical turbine pumps, compressors, blowers, valves and pipeline networks.
• Hands‑on experience in preventive, breakdown and predictive maintenance.
• Exposure to manpower and customer management.
• Strong knowledge of performance analysis and root‑cause analysis.
• Basic proficiency in MS Office.
