Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Udaipur plant, focusing on the design, development, and maintenance of mechanical systems used in mineral processing. You will work on equipment such as conveyors, crushers, mills, and auxiliary machinery, ensuring reliable and efficient operation.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update mechanical drawings and CAD models.
• Size, select, and specify equipment components for plant installations.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams during installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Monitor equipment performance, diagnose mechanical issues, and recommend corrective actions.
• Support preventive maintenance programs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in R&D projects aimed at enhancing equipment performance and evaluating new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles applied to industrial environments.
• Experience with machine design, strength calculations, and component optimization.
• Hands‑on experience using CAD tools for detailed drawings and layouts.
• Ability to manage engineering projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate across functions.
• Knowledge of industrial standards, safety practices, and maintenance methodologies for heavy machinery.
