ME Technician IV

About the role

The ME Technician IV provides equipment and process support to workcells within the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing all equipment used in production, ensuring high uptime and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and complete accurate maintenance records.
• Prioritize work based on production schedules and coordinate with supervisors.
• Serve as the first point of contact in the escalation procedure between Machine Support and Manufacturing.
• Train machine‑support technicians and address repetitive equipment issues with long‑term solutions.
• Facilitate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and support prototype runs.
• Drive improvements in line metrics, efficiencies, and yields while maintaining less than 5% equipment downtime.
• Ensure 100% on‑time completion of preventive‑maintenance tasks and compliance with health‑and‑safety policies.

Required profile

• Strong ability to present information and respond to questions from managers and stakeholders.
• Proven problem‑definition, data‑collection, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency with personal computers, Windows operating systems, and Jabil software packages.
• Basic written communication skills and the ability to follow visual aids and simple instructions.
• Fundamental math skills for calculations, ratios, and graph interpretation.
