About the role
PHINIA is seeking a Material Planner to support its manufacturing operations by ensuring timely material availability, coordinating with suppliers, and optimizing inventory and freight costs. The role contributes to the company’s sustainability goals by improving supply chain efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain material plans to guarantee on‑time delivery for production schedules.
- Monitor supplier performance, manage purchase orders, and resolve delivery issues.
- Analyze inventory levels and implement strategies to improve inventory turns.
- Identify opportunities to reduce freight costs while maintaining service levels.
- Collaborate with production, procurement, and logistics teams to align material flow with demand forecasts.
Required profile
- Proven experience in material planning, logistics, or supply‑chain coordination.
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret data and make decisions.
- Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
