Master Schedule Planner

About the role

ABB is looking for a Master Schedule Planner to support the development and optimisation of planning and fulfilment processes within its Electrification business in Nashik, India. You will drive performance improvements, ensure inventory targets are met and help maintain high customer service levels.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain optimal inventory levels for finished, semi‑finished goods and raw materials while meeting company targets.
• Support and maintain inventory management processes in line with ABB guidelines.
• Perform detailed analyses of planning metrics such as Days Inventory on Hand, on‑time delivery, lead time, forecast accuracy and resource utilisation.
• Identify root causes of non‑performance and lead improvement initiatives across the business.

Required profile

• Full‑time degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5–8 years of experience in production planning, material planning, forecasting and inventory management.
• Hands‑on experience coordinating cross‑functional teams for customer inspections (FAT).
• Proficiency in SAP MM and SAP PP transactional activities.
• Knowledge of MV/LV/HV switchgear – mechanical (sheet‑metal, fabrication, moulding, casting, forging) and electrical (transformers, relays, switches, meters).
