Manufacturing Engineer – Process Optimization

About the role

Metso is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join its Manufacturing Engineering team in Alwar. The role focuses on process optimization, continuous improvement, and supporting new product introductions while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive efficient production operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement new manufacturing processes, tools, fixtures, and equipment for new product introductions.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Product Management to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Lead Engineering Change Notice (ECN) implementation and coordinate with cross‑functional teams.
• Create and maintain manufacturing documentation such as Work Instructions, SOPs, and PFMEA.
• Manage product routings and Bill of Materials updates in SAP.
• Analyze production data to drive workflow efficiency and plant performance.
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and enhance operational effectiveness.
