Manager, Supply Chain Planning & Logistics

About the role

Intuitive is seeking a supply chain professional to lead end‑to‑end demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory control, and logistics execution for a portfolio of medical devices, including capital equipment, instruments, accessories, and spare parts.

Key responsibilities

• Own statistical and consensus demand forecasts at SKU/region/channel level for an 18‑month horizon.
• Support new product introductions with phase‑in plans aligned to regulatory milestones and sales readiness.
• Manage end‑of‑life and product‑transition planning while respecting clinical preferences and regulatory constraints.
• Run spare‑parts and accessory planning using installed‑base data, attach rates, and service‑event history.
• Track forecast accuracy metrics (MAPE, WMAPE, bias, FVA) and isolate tender forecast error.
• Convert demand plans into constrained supply plans, collaborating with global supply planners.
• Own inventory planning and control, including safety stock, cycle stock, strategic stock, expiry management, and FEFO discipline.
• Plan around import lead times and ensure on‑shelf availability of life‑critical products.

Required profile

• Supply chain professional with experience in demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory control for regulated, lot‑traceable products.
• Ability to work across Commercial, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Manufacturing/Imports, Finance, and Service functions.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor forecast accuracy and manage working capital.
