About the role

Join Mastercard’s Statutory Centre of Excellence in Pune as a Manager, leading global statutory reporting and audit activities. You will oversee a team of finance professionals, ensuring accurate financial statements and compliance across jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Director, Statutory COE in preparing financial statements, audit requests and workforce planning.
• Maintain bridge files to reconcile differences between US GAAP and local IFRS/GAAP frameworks.
• Coordinate year‑end accounting activities and resolve issues with internal departments.
• Drive SOX compliance initiatives and implement control improvements for financial reporting.
• Manage the external audit process, collaborating with internal teams, KPMG and PwC.
• Identify and resolve audit data issues and ensure timely audit completion.

Required profile

• Self‑starter with a strong background in statutory accounting and technical accounting.
• Proven analytical abilities and experience delivering projects to completion.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills across cross‑functional teams.
• High energy, intellect and a “can‑do” attitude.
