Manager I – Ocular Health Pharma Account Management

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Manager I to lead Ocular Health Pharma Account Management. The role focuses on medium‑to‑long‑term planning and face‑to‑face selling for a defined group of existing customers, driving growth and ensuring high‑quality service.

Key responsibilities

• Develop medium‑to‑long‑range sales plans and strategies to protect, grow and diversify relationships with existing customers.
• Identify cross‑sell, up‑sell and repeat‑sale opportunities through regular interactions with assigned accounts.
• Resolve customer issues promptly to maintain high service standards.
• Create client retention and growth plans to build profitable business.
• Review and report on customer retention, business opportunities and market trends.
• Build relationships with key strategic customers to generate near‑term growth and open mid‑to‑long‑term opportunities.
• Develop insights, analytics and joint business plans for each key account.
• Establish sales strategies and tactics based on competitive intelligence.
• Co‑develop pre‑launch sales plans for new Vision Care products with Marketing and Trade Marketing.
• Lead annual budget development, set spending metrics and track operating income targets.
• Manage private‑label business with assigned key accounts.

Required profile

• Proven ability to develop and execute sales plans for pharmaceutical or ocular health products.
• Experience managing key strategic accounts and driving revenue growth.
• Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and customer data.
• Capability to work collaboratively with marketing, trade marketing and finance teams.
• Results‑oriented mindset with compensation tied to sales target achievement.
