About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Manager, Deal Management-1 to join its Business Development Finance team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on managing strategic customer agreements and deals across issuers, acquirers, and merchants, supporting corporate strategy and driving profitable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, planning, and execution of complex customer agreements in assigned countries, prioritising high‑impact opportunities.
• Translate business needs, strategies, and regulatory requirements into actionable business case models and profitable deal structures.
• Conduct detailed contract and financial reviews to ensure alignment with approved business cases.
• Act as an advisor to European sales teams and senior management on strategic and financial projects.
• Collaborate with legal, accounting, tax, and finance teams to optimise deal structures.
• Provide guidance and training to account teams on business case processes, financial modelling, and regulatory updates.
• Perform financial and operational analysis to support senior‑level decision‑making and monitor compliance with agreements.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• Strong experience in financial analysis and business case development.
• Proven ability to manage complex, strategic deals and work with cross‑functional teams.
