Maintenance Officer – Plant Equipment & Utilities

About the role

We are looking for a Maintenance Officer to join our Chengalpet plant and ensure reliable operation of critical equipment, utilities and sterilisation systems. You will play a key part in keeping our manufacturing lines running smoothly through preventive and corrective maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee uninterrupted power, utilities and sterilisation support for plant operations.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on packaging, printing and sealing machines as well as facility infrastructure.
• Monitor equipment performance, maintain accurate maintenance records and manage spare‑part inventory.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and other safety and facility standards.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with internal teams and external vendors to achieve timely execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or B.E. with 2‑5 years of experience in plant maintenance, especially packaging, printing and sealing equipment.
• Strong technical, troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities in electrical systems, utilities and production equipment.
• Good communication, teamwork and safety awareness, with a focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
