Industrial Robotics and Simulation Engineer

About the role

Airbus India is seeking an Industrial Robotics and Simulation Engineer to drive the development of Industry 4.0 solutions, including digital twins, virtual commissioning and advanced robotic cell design.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate robotic manufacturing cells using DELMIA/3DX, ensuring optimal kinematics and workspace utilization.
• Execute advanced path planning, offline programming (OLP) and collision‑free motion strategies.
• Implement computer‑vision and sensor‑fusion algorithms (LiDAR, 3D cameras) for real‑time perception and obstacle avoidance.
• Lead virtual commissioning of robotic systems to verify PLC logic and HMI interfaces before physical deployment.
• Develop custom robotic applications in C++ and Python, and model electro‑mechanical devices with Matlab‑Simulink, OpenModelica or ControlBuild.

• Strong problem‑solving, logical thinking and decision‑making capabilities.
• Willingness to learn new skills and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
