M&A Attorney – AI Legal Solutions

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a cutting‑edge team developing AI‑powered legal solutions. Based in India and working remotely, you will apply deep corporate law expertise to train and evaluate AI models that understand contracts, assess risks, and support legal decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Perform simulated M&A negotiations, contract reviews, and redlining across a variety of transaction documents.
• Review AI‑generated responses to M&A scenarios and provide detailed feedback to improve accuracy and legal relevance.
• Develop evaluation frameworks, scoring methodologies, and quality standards for AI performance on transactional tasks.
• Analyze complex agreements to identify risks, negotiation points, and drafting improvements.
• Collaborate with product, research, and engineering teams to refine training datasets and legal guidelines.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Mergers & Acquisitions practice at a corporate law firm.
• Strong experience with Asset Purchase Agreements (APAs) and Stock Purchase Agreements (SPAs).
• Excellent written and verbal communication with meticulous attention to detail.
