Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate is responsible for safeguarding guests, employees and company assets within the hospitality district. This full‑time, onsite position involves investigating incidents, handling complaints and ensuring a safe environment for all visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and gather evidence related to theft, fraud, lost items, noise, assault, food‑poisoning and other guest complaints.
• Interview relevant parties, obtain statements and document incidents accurately.
• Notify managers, supervisors, local police or other authorities when accidents, attacks or serious incidents occur.
• Prepare detailed incident reports covering theft, accidents, physical hazards and fire alarms.
• Manage business interruptions such as suspicious individuals, civil disturbances, noise or intoxicated guests.
• Escort unwelcome persons and defuse guest or employee altercations, calling for authorities when necessary.
• Follow all company safety, security policies and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome guests, address service needs and use computers or point‑of‑sale systems to record information.

Required profile

• Strong investigative mindset with ability to interview and document incidents.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and support common goals.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, run, lift up to 50 lb (assistance for heavier loads) and navigate varied terrain.
• Commitment to uphold confidentiality and protect company assets.

Required skills

• Basic computer operation and point‑of‑sale (POS) system usage.
