Loss Prevention Associate – Hotel Security

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate ensures the safety of guests, staff, and assets at JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa. You will investigate incidents, manage security risks, and support a welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct investigations of theft, fraud, lost items, noise, assault, food‑poisoning and other guest complaints.
• Interview witnesses, gather statements, and compile detailed incident reports.
• Notify managers, local police, or other authorities when required and assist in accident or attack response.
• Handle business interruptions, suspicious individuals, civil disturbances, intoxicated guests, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Defuse guest or employee altercations, summon appropriate authorities, and document outcomes.
• Follow all company safety and security policies, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
• Provide courteous guest service, communicate clearly, and support team objectives.
• Use computer and point‑of‑sale systems to record and retrieve incident data.

Required profile

• Ability to work physically demanding tasks such as standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lb unaided, 75 lb with assistance) and moving quickly in emergency situations.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail when inspecting tools, equipment, or environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
• Capability to maintain composure under pressure and handle confidential information responsibly.
