Logistics Coordinator

About the role

Union Star Logistics LLC is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator to join its team in SAS Nagar (Mohali). The role involves managing daily freight movements and supporting the broader operations function in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight and transportation activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries.
• Communicate with carriers, drivers, shippers, and customers to ensure smooth shipment flow.
• Track shipments, provide timely status updates, and follow up on any issues.
• Prepare and manage transportation documents such as rate confirmations, bills of lading (BOL), and proof of delivery (POD).
• Maintain accurate records of shipments and carrier information.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve shipment‑related problems quickly and professionally.
• Support the operations team with additional logistics tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of experience in freight, logistics, trucking, or transportation.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Ability to handle multiple shipments and tasks simultaneously.
• Positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and willingness to learn.
• Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with standard office software (email, spreadsheets, word processing).
