Litigation Support Specialist (Remote, India)

About the role

This remote position supports litigation teams by handling research, document management, and case coordination. You will work closely with legal practitioners to prepare materials, organise evidence, and ensure smooth progression of cases across all stages of litigation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, format and organise litigation documents such as pleadings, affidavits, witness statements, discovery lists and legal correspondence.
• Conduct legal research on case law, procedural requirements and statutory frameworks relevant to the jurisdictions involved.
• Compile briefs, index documents, organise exhibits and maintain accurate case files.
• Manage document discovery, disclosure processes and evidence organisation.
• Prepare case chronologies, summaries, research notes and internal memoranda for legal team review.
• Assist with trial preparation, including creating court bundles and tracking deadlines.
• Liaise with court registries, barristers, clients and other stakeholders under supervision.
• Maintain confidential client records within legal practice management systems.

Required profile

• 2‑3+ years of experience in litigation, dispute resolution or legal support.
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, litigation procedures and document‑management practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and analyse legal information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using legal practice management platforms such as LEAP, Actionstep or Smokeball.
