Lighting Designer – Innovative Lighting Layouts

About the role

Changi Lighting is seeking a talented Lighting Designer to create innovative and functional lighting layouts for a variety of spaces. You will collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to transform concepts into efficient, aesthetically pleasing lighting solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and interior designers to define lighting objectives.
• Develop creative lighting concepts that enhance both aesthetics and functionality.
• Create detailed lighting layouts using industry‑standard software (AutoCAD, DIALux, SketchUp).
• Ensure optimal fixture placement for ambience, functionality, and energy efficiency.
• Stay current with lighting trends, emerging technologies, and design advancements.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation, including specifications, schedules, lux reports, and detailed drawings.
• Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Lighting Design, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Lighting Designer with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced, creative environment.
