Legal Counsel

About the role

You will be the primary legal partner for a fast‑growing US‑headquartered product company’s India hub. Working remotely from anywhere in India, you will support commercial, product and corporate teams by drafting, reviewing and negotiating agreements while managing legal risk.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate customer, vendor and partner contracts.
• Advise business units on data‑privacy, intellectual property and product licensing matters.
• Create and maintain contract templates, playbooks and standard clauses.
• Partner with sales, product and finance to answer day‑to‑day legal queries.
• Identify regulatory risks and propose practical solutions.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of post‑qualification experience in commercial or corporate law.
• LLB with enrolment as an advocate or an equivalent qualification.
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Reliable remote‑work setup.

Required skills

• Familiarity with data‑protection frameworks such as GDPR or DPDP.
