Legal Counsel – Corporate & Compliance

About the role

Cyient is seeking a proactive Legal Counsel to join its General Corporate & Compliance function. Based in the Madhapur office, you will support legal matters across 23 global jurisdictions and report to the Senior Counsel – Legal & Compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice to functional and operational managers to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Analyze case law, court reports, and legislative changes, preparing technical reports on their impact.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents covering trade, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
• Review public statements from a legal perspective to identify and mitigate risks.
• Conduct regulatory research and support HR policy development on legal aspects.

Required profile

• In‑house lawyer with at least 4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions and time zones.
• Positive outlook and flexibility to accommodate global work hours.
