Legal & Compliance Manager – US Market

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Legal & Compliance Manager to lead regulatory compliance, legal advisory and policy governance for our US operations. Based in Mumbai, the role works on US federal, state and local regulations while supporting business units with legal guidance and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret US federal, state and local laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Conduct periodic compliance reviews, risk assessments and maintain compliance programs, manuals and training.
• Manage regulatory filings, vendor registrations and liaison with authorities during audits and inspections.
• Provide legal advice to internal stakeholders, draft, review and negotiate contracts and agreements.
• Perform legal research and risk analysis to support business decisions.
• Develop, update and communicate internal policies, ensuring organization‑wide compliance.
• Oversee shipping and logistics compliance with US import/export regulations.
• Ensure HR compliance with US labor laws, draft employee agreements, oversee payroll and benefits compliance, and handle employee relations matters.
