Legal Associate – Corporate Insolvency & FinTech

About the role

PJ Law Offices, a boutique corporate law firm specializing in corporate insolvency, FinTech, alternative investment funds, financial restructuring and dispute resolution, is seeking a full‑time Associate to work on‑site in Ernakulam. The Associate will support senior lawyers in delivering legal services across a range of corporate transactions and dispute matters.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct legal research on corporate, insolvency, FinTech and related regulatory matters.
• Draft legal documents, contracts and agreements.
• Review and analyse existing agreements and provide legal opinions to clients.
• Assist in the execution of corporate transactions and financial restructuring projects.
• Support dispute resolution processes, including preparation of pleadings and case strategy.
• Handle intellectual property, employment and commercial transaction matters.
• Manage a transaction‑based workload and ensure timely delivery of deliverables.

Required profile

• Law degree from a recognised university and enrollment with the Bar Council.
• Proficiency in legal research, drafting and contract analysis.
• Understanding of corporate law, financial restructuring and dispute resolution.
• Knowledge of FinTech, alternative investment funds and foreign exchange regulations is an advantage.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage transaction workloads and meet deadlines.
