Legal AI Research & Quality Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Legal AI Research & Quality Specialist to help improve the accuracy, reliability and currency of our legal AI platform. The role combines deep legal analysis with data quality assurance to ensure AI‑generated outputs meet high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Review Acts, rules, regulations, judgments, orders and other legal materials.
• Evaluate AI‑generated outputs for legal accuracy, completeness and consistency.
• Create and review human‑validated legal reference data.
• Identify and structure parties, courts, judges, counsels, authorities, facts, issues, arguments, findings, statutory provisions, citations, precedents, reliefs and procedural status.
• Verify summaries, classifications, citations, entities and legal relationships produced by AI systems.
• Track important judicial and legislative developments to keep knowledge resources up‑to‑date.
• Develop clear review guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with AI engineers, data teams and product teams.

Required profile

• LL.B. or equivalent legal qualification.
• Strong legal research and judgment‑analysis skills.
• Good understanding of statutory interpretation, precedent, court hierarchy and legal citation.
• Ability to distinguish facts, submissions, observations, findings, ratio decidendi and final orders.
• Excellent attention to detail and consistency.
• Comfortable converting complex legal information into structured outputs.
• Experience in litigation, legal research, legal publishing, knowledge management or legal technology is preferred.
• Familiarity with Indian courts, tribunals, statutes and citation formats is a plus.
