About the role
The Learning & Development Executive partners with managers and department heads to assess staffing and training needs, creating and delivering effective learning solutions for a hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Meet with managers and division heads to discuss recruitment, open requisitions, and qualification requirements.
- Conduct needs assessments and develop learning strategies and plans.
- Design, develop, and produce training materials such as workbooks, manuals, job aids, and posters.
- Prepare and facilitate training sessions, including stand‑up training for employee groups.
- Monitor departmental compliance with safety training and orientation programs.
- Assist management with hiring, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and coaching employees.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality standards.
- Maintain professional appearance and provide courteous guest service.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No specific license or certification required.
