Lead Yard Representative – Construction Manager

About the role

Penspen is seeking a Lead Yard Representative – Construction Manager to oversee offshore construction and installation activities for a major offshore PMC project in India. The role involves ensuring safe, efficient execution in line with project specifications, drawings, schedules and HSE requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Direct day‑to‑day offshore construction and installation operations on‑site.
• Coordinate with construction management, subcontractors, marine captains and offshore vessels to optimise logistics, manpower and material handling.
• Monitor progress of multidisciplinary teams (structural, piping, electrical, rigging) and resolve immediate execution challenges.
• Implement approved construction procedures, method statements and lifting plans.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and site coordination meetings, reporting progress, constraints and potential delays to on‑shore project management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Marine or related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 20 years offshore oil & gas EPC experience.
• At least 15 years in offshore fabrication, construction and installation projects.
• 10 years in a supervisory or management position (e.g., Company Representative, PMC Representative, Construction Manager, Yard Manager, Fabrication Manager).
• Proven experience with offshore jacket and topside fabrication, yard management, load‑out and marine transportation, and installation campaigns.
