Lead Software Engineer

About the role

As a Lead Software Engineer you will steer the engineering direction of H&M’s Enterprise & Supply Chain Integrations, Marketplace and Franchise platforms. You will modernise the integration backbone that connects the SAP landscape, cloud services and supply‑chain applications across more than 70 markets, ensuring secure and high‑performing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement scalable integration architectures using Azure and SAP technologies.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams in Bengaluru and Stockholm, driving code quality and best practices.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Enterprise Architects and business stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
• Champion DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation and AI‑assisted engineering practices.
• Ensure observability, security and resilience of integration services.

Required profile

• 9+ years of software engineering experience, including technical lead or staff engineer roles.
• Proven ability to mentor engineers and lead code reviews in Agile environments.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in global, cross‑functional teams.
• Passion for building scalable, cloud‑native enterprise solutions.
