About the role
The Lead – Regional Sales Excellence & Route to Customer Manager will drive sales performance and optimise the route‑to‑consumer for United Breweries' portfolio across the West region of India. Reporting to the National Sales Excellence and RTC Head and the Regional Business Head, you will shape strategy, lead execution and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance and the route‑to‑consumer in the assigned region.
- Analyse market trends, consumer behaviour and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
- Design and roll out sales processes, tools and systems that boost efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead and support the sales team to achieve targets and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Monitor performance metrics such as revenue, market share and customer satisfaction, taking corrective actions when needed.
- Identify and nurture key accounts and strategic partnerships to expand market reach.
- Stay current on industry trends, best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Work with distributors, retailers and channel partners to optimise distribution and product availability.
- Prepare and present reports, forecasts and recommendations to senior management.
Required profile
- Proven experience in sales leadership, preferably within the food and beverage or consumer goods sector.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast‑paced environment.
