Lead Recruiter – Blue-Collar Hiring Expert

About the role

Sodexo is seeking a dynamic Lead Recruiter to own end‑to‑end bulk hiring for blue‑collar positions across Food and Facilities Management services in the region. You will drive high‑volume recruitment, build sustainable talent pipelines, and ensure hiring targets are met within cost and time constraints.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 8+ recruiters to achieve hiring and productivity goals.
• Design and execute monthly/quarterly hiring plans aligned with business demand.
• Ensure positions are filled within defined TAT and cost‑per‑hire targets.
• Develop and maintain talent pipelines and databases for recurring roles.
• Manage local sourcing channels including vendors, contractors, field sourcing, job drives, referrals, and community networks.
• Establish partnerships with institutions and agencies for continuous talent supply.
• Monitor recruitment funnel metrics, attrition trends, and source effectiveness, recommending corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations and line managers for manpower planning and offer closures.
• Maintain process compliance, accurate documentation, and recruitment MIS.
• Drive employee referral programs and innovative sourcing initiatives.
• Support offer rollout, joining coordination, and handover to HR operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in blue‑collar bulk hiring, preferably in Food Services, Facilities Management, Hospitality or staffing.
• Strong exposure to the Mumbai hiring market.
• Experience managing a team of 5–8 recruiters.
• Deep understanding of high‑volume hiring metrics (TAT, cost, conversion ratios).
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in high‑pressure, target‑driven environments.
• Strong planning, execution, and people‑leadership capabilities.
