Lead – eAxle Assembly

About the role

We are looking for a Lead to drive the definition and maintenance of eAxle assembly structures, bridging design intent and manufacturing execution. The role will ensure accurate product data across engineering and manufacturing systems, supporting the transition from prototype to series production.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain eAxle system, sub‑assembly and component structures aligned with design and manufacturing strategies.
• Support manufacturing‑ready assembly concepts, considering tolerance stack‑up, serviceability, logistics and localization.
• Create, structure and maintain multi‑level Engineering BOMs (EBOM) and ensure alignment with Manufacturing BOMs (MBOM).
• Manage SAP material masters and ensure data integrity between PLM (Teamcenter) and SAP.
• Coordinate change impacts through formal ECR/ECO/CCB processes and act as central interface among design, manufacturing, purchasing, quality, logistics and controlling.
• Prepare and support design reviews, BOM audits and manufacturing readiness reviews.

Required profile

• BE/BTech in Mechanical or Automobile engineering.
• 5‑8 years of experience in assembly structures, BOM management and SAP material master maintenance.
• Strong cross‑functional coordination skills and ability to work in global, multi‑location teams.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of eAxle / transmission assembly structures.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP (material master, BOM, change management).
• Understanding of EBOM–MBOM concepts.
• Experience with PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of APQP, PPAP and change management processes (ECR/ECO/CCB).
• Ability to interpret drawings, part lists and 3D models.
• Basic understanding of tolerance stack‑up and assembly feasibility.
