Lead Designer – Prints & Embroidery (Linen Club)

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Designer to head the creation of embroidery and print designs for the Linen Club and Cavallo OTC collections. The role involves market research, design development, data management and catalogue production to keep our offerings fresh and competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Design embroidery collections and print patterns that align with brand aesthetics and market trends.
• Conduct quarterly market visits and research to capture dealer feedback and emerging fashion trends.
• Manage design booking data, digitise designs, and maintain a structured digital library with proper coding, colour and repeat information.
• Analyse sell‑through data by category, dealer and region to inform future design decisions.
• Lead the creation of design catalogues, selecting top SKUs from a large portfolio and coordinating styling for ethnic, shirting and suiting categories.
• Coordinate with in‑house and outsourced vendors to ensure timely delivery of strike‑offs and final designs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in embroidery and print design for fashion or textile products.
• Strong market research skills with the ability to translate trends into design concepts.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage large design datasets.
• Effective communication and coordination with dealers, vendors and internal teams.
