Laundry Delivery Staff

About the role

We are looking for reliable Laundry Delivery Staff to handle the pickup and delivery of customers' garments. The role involves collecting laundry on schedule, ensuring safe transport, and delivering cleaned items promptly while providing excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect garments from customers at the scheduled pickup time.
• Deliver cleaned and packed garments safely and on time to the correct customer.
• Verify customer name, order number, garment count, and delivery details before hand‑over.
• Check garments and packages for visible damage or missing items.
• Communicate politely with customers and handle basic queries about pickup, delivery, and order status.
• Collect cash or online payments where applicable, provide receipts, and submit cash to the accounts team.
• Plan efficient delivery routes, follow assigned schedules, and use navigation tools as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the delivery vehicle or bag and protect garments during transport.
• Update delivery status in the company system, obtain customer confirmation or OTP, and report unsuccessful deliveries immediately.
• Keep the delivery vehicle in good working condition, follow traffic and safety regulations, and inform the supervisor of maintenance needs.
• Coordinate with laundry processing, billing, and customer service teams, sharing any delays or special instructions.
• Wear the prescribed uniform and ID, maintain professional behavior, and protect customer information.
