Landside Specialist – Multi Carrier Dispatch

About the role

The Landside Specialist ensures smooth coordination between drivers, terminals and external partners. Working in a night‑shift environment, you will assign loads, track shipments and support drivers to keep container movements on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assign loads to drivers in Trinium based on availability and capacity.
• Assist drivers with daily operational challenges via phone.
• Generate daily Dispatch Report using Trinium data, client reports and port appointments.
• Schedule pickup and drop‑off appointments through terminal websites.
• Investigate completed and upcoming loads, track export status and monitor timely movement.
• Approve accessorial charges, notify Settlement Clerk for driver payment and Transportation Coordinator for customer billing.
• Maintain communication with client teams regarding drayage issues and appointment information.
• Evaluate repair inquiries and coordinate with repair companies when needed.

Required profile

• Fluent oral and written English communication skills.
• Graduate, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
• Willingness to work full night shifts.
• 3‑5 years minimum experience in shipping and logistics.
• Experience with documentation review, data entry and reporting.
• Ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience using the Trinium dispatch system.
