L3 Splunk Admin & IT Operations Lead - RTM

About the role

The L3 Splunk Admin & IT Operations Lead – RTM will provide high‑level operational and technical leadership for Airbus India. The role combines expert Splunk administration with responsibility for day‑to‑day IT Operations Management, ensuring system reliability and infrastructure availability across multiple sites.

Key responsibilities

• Own technical operations 24×7, manage crisis situations and major incidents.
• Mentor and guide L1/L2 engineers, providing daily operational direction and escalation support.
• Analyse KPI trends, identify risks and drive continuous improvement plans.
• Drive Incident, Problem and Change Management workflows to meet SLA/OLA commitments.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis for complex outages and implement preventative actions.
• Automate recurring tasks using DevOps tools (Git, Ansible, Jenkins) to increase efficiency.

Required profile

• Engineering graduate with 8–10 years of experience in infrastructure monitoring, Splunk administration and IT Operations Management.
• Proven ability to lead L1/L2 support teams and resolve complex operational issues.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).

• Splunk administration (multi‑site clustering, log deployment, integration).
• Cloud platforms: AWS (EC2, S3, Route53, IAM).
• Operating systems: Red Hat Linux (certified), Windows.
• Scripting: Shell, Python.
• Networking fundamentals: DHCP, DNS, SSL/TLS.
• Identity & Access Management: SAML, OAuth.
• DevOps tools: Git, Ansible, Jenkins.
• ITSM: ServiceNow workflow administration.
• Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence).
