L3 Infrastructure Support Engineer

About the role

The L3 Infrastructure Support Engineer is responsible for the proactive and reactive management of the entire IT infrastructure. You will ensure servers, storage, networking, and cloud services operate reliably, securely, and efficiently to meet business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, storage systems, and related hardware.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning, and security patching on a monthly basis.
• Manage Active Directory, Office 365 email services, and user access controls.
• Oversee backup and restoration processes using Proxmox Backup Server and conduct regular DR testing.
• Handle incident management, root‑cause analysis, and problem resolution following ITIL practices (JIRA, ServiceNow).
• Collaborate with L1 support, OEM vendors, and other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
• Document infrastructure configurations, SOPs, and create knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 3 years of engineering diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNP, MCSE, or RHCE.
• Proven experience supporting Windows, Linux, networking, and virtualization environments.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure.
