Key Account Manager – Team Lead (Bus Travel)

About the role

Paytm Travel is looking for a Key Account Manager to lead its bus travel business in the assigned region. You will manage relationships with State Road Transport Corporations and private bus operators, driving revenue, pricing health, and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and drive revenue targets, load factors, and seat‑fill rates for your region.
• Collaborate with central pricing and analytics teams to implement dynamic pricing strategies.
• Track revenue leakage, cancellations, and penal charges; work with operators to resolve issues.
• Regularly benchmark fares, seat inventory, and operator quality against regional competitors.
• Monitor SLA adherence on seat confirmations, refunds, and cancellation handling.

Required profile

• 2–6 years of experience in bus ticketing, logistics, e‑commerce, or B2C travel partnerships.
• Prior experience working with state transport corporations or regional aggregators (strong plus).
• Strong commercial acumen with negotiation experience.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the local regional language.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory.

Required skills

• Experience using dashboards and BI tools to derive insights.
