Junior Welder

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Welder to join our manufacturing team. In this position you will help assemble, refurbish and test transmitters while following engineering standards and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble, refurbish and test transmitters according to work instructions and engineering standards.
• Set up, calibrate and operate production and refurbishment equipment, including testing and packaging.
• Select, issue and store components and tools in line with inventory and quality procedures.
• Complete required quality documentation and follow quality‑assurance processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment through regular housekeeping and equipment care.
• Support production schedules while maintaining attention to detail and safety.
• Participate in safety, quality and continuous‑improvement activities, including hazard reporting.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve shared production goals.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing, assembly or a related production environment, or transferable hands‑on technical skills.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings and procedures with strong attention to detail.
• Commitment to safe work practices and proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Basic numeracy and literacy for documentation and production processes.
• Physical capability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods and handle components safely.
• Team‑focused mindset with clear communication and willingness to learn.
