Junior Recruiter – Life Sciences & Engineering

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Recruiter to support our US healthcare and pharmaceutical recruitment efforts. This entry‑level position is ideal for graduates with a background in Life Sciences, Biotechnology or Engineering who want to start a career in recruitment.

Key responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, referrals, networking and proactive outreach.
• Screen candidates against job requirements and hiring manager specifications.
• Maintain structured communication with candidates from initial contact through offer release.
• Coordinate salary expectations, negotiations, benefits and interview schedules.
• Conduct reference checks to verify candidate experience.
• Develop a basic understanding of Life‑Sciences, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Medical and Engineering domains to improve screening quality.
• Perform employee care check‑ins (Day 1, Week 1, Month 1, quarterly) and escalate issues as needed.
• Monitor assignment end dates and prepare candidates for redeployment to new roles.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in B Pharma, BSc Biotechnology, Life Sciences or Engineering (preferred).
• Positive, flexible and assertive work approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
