About the role
Acowale is looking for a Junior Full-Stack Engineer to join the AcoMono project. You will work on both backend and frontend features, contributing to a platform that serves millions of merchants.
Key responsibilities
- Implement backend features using TypeScript and Node.js, write clean code, and optimise PostgreSQL queries.
- Develop and maintain React components with TypeScript, using Vite and modern frontend practices.
- Write unit tests with Jest and ensure smooth UI‑backend integration.
- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture sessions.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to improve documentation and code quality.
Required profile
- Strong foundation in JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Basic understanding of React or a similar frontend framework.
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases.
- Basic Git version‑control knowledge.
- Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills.
