About the role
OMS Software is looking for a Junior Developer in Bengaluru to help build and ship its mobile and backend applications. The role covers the full stack: cross-platform, offline-capable mobile apps with React Native and REST APIs with Spring Boot, including publishing to the Google Play Store. It is described as a hands-on role with plenty of mentorship and room to grow.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile features using React Native
- Build and consume RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot
- Maintain offline-first data storage and sync between the mobile app and backend using WatermelonDB, so the app stays usable without connectivity
- Prepare and publish app builds to the Google Play Console, including signing, versioning and release tracks
- Fix bugs, write clean code and participate in code reviews
- Collaborate with senior developers, testers and product stakeholders
- Write basic unit tests and help with debugging and troubleshooting
