Junior Engineer – Welding & Fabrication

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Engineer to operate as a Welder/Forming/AMF Fixture check operator in our Multi‑modal Manufacturing Facility in Pune. You will be responsible for welding, forming and assembling aerospace components while ensuring defect‑free parts and continuous productivity improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with EHS and Quality System regulations and policies.
• Weld tubes, air manifolds and sheet‑metal parts using TIG and Orbital processes.
• Weld stainless steel and Inconel alloys, and repair defective castings.
• Perform metal‑forming operations on hydraulic and mechanical press machines (hydro‑form preferred).
• Assemble welded products and operate welding accessories such as positioners, bevellers, rollers and 3D tables.
• Read and interpret 2D drawings, GD&T, SOPs and manuals to ensure correct product finish.
• Maintain shift output with high safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in fabrication and welding of air manifolds and sheet‑metal parts.
• Diploma in a relevant technical field.
• Certification in AWS D17.1 6G welding for II A & III B materials.
• Knowledge of special‑process alloys and airflow requirements.
