Junior Associate - Web Developer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Junior Associate Web Developer with 1–2 years of experience to contribute to modern SaaS applications and WordPress projects. You will collaborate closely with senior developers, designers, and product teams to deliver responsive, scalable, and user‑friendly web solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and modern JavaScript.
• Build, customize, and maintain WordPress themes, templates, and plugins.
• Support backend integration with PHP and REST APIs.
• Integrate third‑party APIs and services.
• Convert UI/UX designs into responsive web pages.
• Debug and troubleshoot frontend and backend issues.
• Optimize website and application performance.
• Ensure cross‑browser compatibility and responsive design.
• Follow coding standards, Git workflows, and best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, QA engineers, and senior developers.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools while validating generated code.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of hands‑on web development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and frameworks.
• Positive attitude with ownership mindset.
• Good time‑management and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery.
• React.js (components, hooks, state, props).
• WordPress CMS, theme customization, basic plugin development.
• PHP and backend integration.
• REST APIs and JSON handling.
• Git version control (clone, branch, commit, pull requests, merge).
• SQL/MySQL basics.
• AI coding tools (ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot).
• Elementor or other WordPress page builders.
• Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, SCSS.
• TypeScript basics.
• Docker fundamentals.
• Authentication concepts (JWT, sessions, cookies).
• Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (optional).
