Junior Architect

About the role

Cosmic Designs is seeking a Junior Architect to support the design and documentation of residential, commercial and mixed‑use projects. The role focuses on creating permit drawings, ensuring compliance with local building regulations and assisting senior architects throughout the approval process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts and preparing detailed drawings and layout plans.
• Update design revisions and coordinate with senior architects and project stakeholders.
• Review regulatory requirements and organise project documentation.
• Contribute to plot subdivision layouts and other technical submissions.

Required profile

• Strong foundation in architecture and design with the ability to translate concepts into accurate drawings.
• Exposure to basic project‑management tasks such as planning and timeline tracking.
• Willingness to learn local building codes, permitting processes and regulatory standards.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture or a closely related field; internship or academic project experience preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Ernakulam on a full‑time, deadline‑driven schedule.
