About the role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our retail finance team. You will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain financial records and accounts using Zoho Books.
- Prepare and process invoices, payments and receipts for retail transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities for retail operations.
- Generate financial reports and analyse data to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and retail industry regulations.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks.
- Provide support for audits and the preparation of financial statements.
Required profile
- Junior‑level candidate with a basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Interest in retail finance and willingness to learn.
- Detail‑oriented and able to work with numerical data accurately.
