Jr. System Administrator

About the role

Tetrahed INC is seeking a motivated Junior System Administrator to join its fast‑growing technology services team. You will work on hybrid environments that span on‑premise, cloud and edge infrastructures, ensuring high availability and compliance for clients in finance, healthcare and logistics.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Windows and Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS) servers, storage systems and virtualization platforms.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot hardware/software incidents and perform root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Deploy and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and group policies across enterprise environments.
• Execute regular backups, restores and verify data recovery integrity using Veeam or similar tools.
• Support IT security initiatives, including patch management, firewall rule updates, access‑control audits and vulnerability remediation.
• Document system configurations, change logs and operational runbooks for cross‑team collaboration and compliance.

Required profile

• Basic experience with Windows and Linux server administration.
• Familiarity with virtualization (VMware vSphere) and cloud platforms (AWS EC2).
• Ability to follow ITIL best practices; ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
