About the role
An experienced JD Edwards Technical Consultant / Developer is sought in Chennai, with strong expertise in Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (E1) development and orchestration. The role covers hands-on development, customizations, integrations, report development and orchestration-based automation, working closely with functional consultants, business stakeholders and technical teams.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, customize and maintain JD Edwards EnterpriseOne applications using Business Functions, Named Event Rules, Event Rules and C Business Functions, and customize interactive applications, batch applications, business views, data dictionary items and tables.
- Design and build orchestrations, business services, notifications and integrations with Orchestrator Studio, and support orchestration-based automation.
- Develop and support UBE reports, BI Publisher reports and other custom reports.
- Build integrations with Business Services, AIS Server, REST APIs, SOAP web services and third-party applications.
- Implement data conversions and interfaces with Z Files, RDA and ETL tools, supporting migration and upgrade projects.
- Perform package builds, deployments and promotions with Object Management Workbench (OMW).
- Analyze requirements, write technical design documents, troubleshoot production issues and take part in code reviews, unit and system testing and deployments.
Required profile
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne technical development.
- Experience supporting implementation, upgrade and production support projects.
- Ability to optimize application performance and adhere to development standards.
- Strong collaboration skills across functional and technical teams.
