Java Developer

About the role

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our core engineering team. You will design, develop, test, and maintain high‑performance, scalable enterprise applications while collaborating with product managers, architects, UI/UX designers, and DevOps engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain reliable Java/J2EE applications and microservices.
• Write clean, maintainable code following OOP principles and SOLID patterns.
• Develop RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and event‑driven messaging systems.
• Participate in architectural discussions and system design reviews.
• Integrate backend services with relational (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis) databases.
• Work with message brokers such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and IBM MQ.
• Implement automated unit and integration tests using JUnit, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• Collaborate with DevOps to design CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and deploy containerized applications with Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Monitor application health using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 11/17/21) and multithreading, concurrency, collections, generics, and Stream API.
• Hands‑on experience with the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, MVC, Data JPA, Security, Cloud).
• Solid understanding of relational database design, SQL optimization, and ORM tools (Hibernate, JPA, MyBatis).
• Experience designing, securing, and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Familiarity with messaging and event‑streaming technologies.
