About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies is looking for an experienced Java Backend Developer to join its Bangalore team. You will work on high‑performance, secure backend services that support Bosch’s global digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

Gather and analyse client requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Core Java (Java 17+, preferably Java 21) and Swing.
Implement REST APIs, micro‑service components and ensure secure communication (TLS/SSL, HTTPS).
Customize existing functionalities to meet customer needs.
Participate in code reviews, testing (JUnit, integration tests) and continuous integration pipelines.
Deploy applications using Docker containers and support CI/CD workflows (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).

Required profile

5+ years of professional Java development experience.
Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Web, Spring Context, Spring Test) and reactive programming (Project Reactor or similar).
Solid understanding of REST API design, HTTP protocols, micro‑service patterns and security concepts.
Good analytical, problem‑solving and debugging skills.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
