IT Support Specialist – Technical Services

About the role

The IT Support Specialist provides end‑to‑end technical services to IBM employees, ensuring devices and software run smoothly and users receive prompt assistance. You will work within a service call management process or as part of a team to resolve hardware and software issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a full workload of technical services, including software configuration, device setup, upgrades, reimaging and installation.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment malfunctions using diagnostics, reference documentation and test equipment.
• Document all incidents accurately and timely, and communicate status updates to management and team members.
• Provide guidance and support to colleagues, and suggest improvements to service processes.
• Maintain professional conduct, appearance and business‑like communications at all times.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• Excellent communication, customer‑service and problem‑solving abilities.
• At least 2 years of professional experience supporting Windows, Red Hat Linux, macOS and iOS environments.
• Strong knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Office, Teams, OneDrive and Box.
• Experience with hardware troubleshooting, system configuration and network connectivity.
