IT Support Specialist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time remote IT Support Specialist to be the first point of contact for our clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems and ensure smooth IT operations for a fast‑growing US‑based company.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level technical support via email, phone and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration and ongoing maintenance of company systems, hardware and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving steps and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or department.
• Document tickets, resolutions and system configurations in the ticketing system.
• Support software deployments, updates and ensure compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting and minor server maintenance.
• Track and analyze recurring incidents to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Experience working remotely and supporting international clients is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish (Portuguese a plus).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.
• Customer‑service mindset with a proactive attitude.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS and/or Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
