IT Support Engineer / Helpdesk Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive, customer‑focused IT Support Engineer to deliver day‑to‑day technical assistance, manage endpoint devices, and support ISO 27001 compliance across the organization. The role involves ensuring smooth IT service delivery and maintaining a secure, well‑documented IT environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily support for laptops, desktops, operating systems, and business applications.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT hardware and software.
• Manage endpoint devices, including provisioning, patching, antivirus/EDR, and security compliance.
• Support ISO 27001 initiatives by maintaining IT assets, documentation, and compliance activities.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, and device lifecycle records.
• Coordinate with Infrastructure, Security, and Application teams to resolve technical issues and ensure system availability.
• Handle user incidents and service requests, escalating complex issues when required.
• Assist in implementing and enforcing IT security policies and best practices.

Required profile

• 4–5 years of experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Desktop Support.
• Hands‑on experience with Windows operating systems, hardware troubleshooting, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with endpoint management, patch management, antivirus/EDR solutions, and IT asset management.
• Exposure to ISO 27001, information security practices, or IT compliance activities is preferred.
• Good understanding of IT service management processes (Incident, Request, and Change Management).
